Don Mann: Focusing on my Craft

I just got back from Pennsylvania. I've been home for ten minutes now, and I realize that externally, nothing has changed in this household, but something stinks of disarray. There's something going on here...but I don't know what.

I wrote a short journal entry for each day I was gone. I'll post those and make a big deal out of it like I often do to every tiny thing.

I've been long overdue for this break, a chance to escape the cold confines of my basement. I can't say it was a pleasure cruise, but it sure wasn't galley-slavery aboard some eclectic galleon. I suppose I'll give more details in my journal entries to come. For now I'm going to sit back and see who gave a damn that I was gone/who gives a damn that I'm back. That ought to give me some amount of entertainment.
