Don Mann: Focusing on my Craft Sunday, Apr. 18, 2004 - 11:44 a.m. I will wander on... It's the last day of my three day weekend away from college, and now comes the time for me to head on back. The day is perfect outside, the sun like the iris of a giant blue unblinking eye staring down, watching me load my jeep with all my miscellaneous things, things which make up who I am. Material objects, each one like a souvenir of my past experiences, making me wonder if the sharpness of my memory is a curse or a blessing. I guess it's time I move on now, and get back to my studious environment, and away from the distractions of this tiny city which brims full of my life and my personality, back to the tiny town where history will continue to be written. |
