Don Mann: Focusing on my Craft Sunday, Feb. 08, 2004 - 4:16 a.m. It's about time I be heading to bed now... Jesse and I have been practicing nonstop for our band's recording sessions, and I'd say our song is coming along alright now. I need other people to help out with drums and bass, though. The two of us can't do everything, but I don't know who to turn to. Now for the day's news. Today I spent with Jesse, working on our song, and watching the terrific film Toys, which really is a ridiculous and beautiful masterpiece. Then, unexpectedly, Liz and Brigid appeared from no where bearing a twisted japanese film called "Suicide Club", which turned out to be the true highlight of the evening. Maybe tomorrow I'll go into more detail about it. Tomorrow I'm going to finish up my financial aid work for college. It's already 2 weeks overdue. I would do my best now to conjure up some deep thought or powerful statement, but at this point it would be false, because for the life of me I can only think of rest... ~Don out "If I can't bring you comfort, at least I'll give you hope..." |
