Treading water
I'm out of the drugs that kept me
comfortable at home
I'm out of the money that sustained
my habits and my security
I'm running out of familiar faces
running into dead ends.

So much is going on outside of my life
That lately I've forgotten to tend to it
If you haven't seen me in two days
You don't even really know me
Real memories don't last that long
Just what we make of them
And I think we change everyday
So then, am I to remain
