Don Mann: Focusing on my Craft Monday, Jan. 19, 2004 - 6:32 a.m. Here's the beginning of the list that I promised you. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go back an entry. -------------------------- ~Jesse "Rebel Rebel" By David Bowie I suppose the lyrics to this song make it fairly self-explanatory. "Apocalypse Woman" By My Dying Bride Jesse loves to hurt men, simply because she feels they deserve it...I only wish I could have somehow saved them from their terribl fate. "She Sells Sanctuary" by The Cult This song has always held a lot of meaning for me, one line of it in particular. "The fire in your eyes keeps me alive" Jesse's eyes have always captivated me, and some of you out there may know what I mean when I say that some people in this world just don't have that spark behind their eyes, that flame kindling in the furnace behind the window to their soul. -------------------------- ~Nate "What Else Do I Need" by VAST Nate is a very interesting individual, his views and ideas are perfectly demonstrated in this song. Many will accuse him of being unmotivated, uninspired, or altogether stagnant. However, I know that his ideal life is a simple one, and that there is no need for him to conform to how others percieve life. -------------------------- ~Clint "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen Clint's a funloving guy. He's always full of zeal and tumult, always living every day hapy-go-lucky and charmed. Somehow when I hear this song I always think of him. -------------------------- ~Dean "Kill Love" By Tears for Fears This song was a great summary of Dean's sentiments over the last few weeks. "Dark Bodies(Invisible Wounds)" by Fear Factory I felt that the lyrics to this song demonstrated Dean's awakening of self-awareness, and his face still pops up in my mind whenever I hear it. "Comfortably Numb" by Pink Floyd This song was dedicated to Dean's alcohol and substance abuse periods which come and go. I think of getting drunk with Dean whenever I hear it. -------------------------- ~Alise "Black Diamond" By Stratovarius Alise is an incredibly important person to me, always has been, and ever since the first time we met I knew our friendship and my love for her would last, and that distance and circumstance would never get in the way. -------------------------- ~Gabe Work in progress -------------------------- ~Jen Lincoln "Edie(Ciao Baby)" by The Cult "Touched" by VAST "Breathrough" by Queen "Pictures of You" by The Cure -------------------------- ~Kat Work in progress -------------------------- ~Susie "Urgent" By Foreigner -------------------------- ~Christine Higgins "Night Shift" By Siouxsie and The Banshees -------------------------- ~Colleen Work in progress -------------------------- ~Pam Cunningham "Petals in Sequence" by Mors Syphilitica We once danced in candlelight to this song, and it's funny because then I never knew that the prophecy in the lyrics would come true in reality. -------------------------- ~Jeannie Work in progress -------------------------- ~Liz Smith "Woman in Chains" By Tears for Fears Liz is a woman who really does need to be freed, she's a wonderful person who I absolutely adore, and probably one of my favorite people in the world to hug. "Creep" By Radiohead I have low self-esteem, and when you look at me like I mean something the world becomes a more beautiful place for me... "Coma Black" by Marilyn Manson I loved you before I knew what love was, and now that I do I want nothing more than to be with you again... "For My Fallen Angel" by My Dying Bride I could never write a song about my lost love that could even compare to this one...
